Informal Education Products/Museum Tour was founded by Marilynne Eichinger in 1985. Since then, she has held the position of company president and served as the publisher of the Museum Tour Catalog. She also established Shopformuseums.com, a fundraising site for non-profit organizations. Previously, she was president of the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), a post she held from 1985 on. Ms. Eichinger has served the community in numerous position, as a member of the Boards of the Portland Visitors Association (POVA), the Northwest Regional Education Laboratories (NWREL), and the Association of Science and Technology Centers, for which she was Treasurer, and as chair of the Science and Technology committee for the State Department of Education (1994).

Together, we are preparing youngsters for life in the 21st century.
