Camp Description:
Traditional and specialty resident camp sessions are open to persons with or without disabilities. Beautiful 40-acre site on Glacier Lake, near McGregor, Minnesota. Accessible modern cabins and resort cabins, dining hall and lodge, and outdoor recreation areas. Camp New Hope is operated by Friendship Ventures. Our programs are a great place for children, teens and adults to have the time of their lives. Our program focuses on building self-esteem and independence; group activities provide opportunities to practice social skills such as cooperative decision making, conflict resolution and communication. Services are specially designed for persons with developmental, physical or multiple disabilities, special medical needs, Down Syndrome, autism, or other conditions. Resident camp programs are ACA accredited and operate July through August.
