Camp Description:
Rainbow Christian Camp offers three major types of camp programs.
Main Camp: Each week of Main Camp is unique since they are planned and facilitated by different Deans. The Deans are godly men who are devoted to teaching young people about God. Main camp includes activities such as team building, Bible study classes, group fellowship, swimming, games, and sports. Campers stay in cabins surrounding a pond and enjoy meals together in a traditional camp dinning hall. Life-long friendships often begin at a week of camp.Jungle Huts: Jungle Hut Camps are a unique opportunity for campers to experience outdoor camping in a new and exciting way! Activities include Bible study classes, group fellowship, swimming, mud-sliding, rope swinging into a creek, and canoeing on the wetlands. Wilderness Adventure camp: The Wilderness Adventure Program (WAP) combines Bible study with awesome outdoor activities such as backpacking, cycling, climbing, canoeing, whitewater rafting, caving, and more! During these adventures we take you out of your "comfort zone" - no T.V., Internet, phone, etc.... These trips provide an opportunity to look at yourself, check your priorities, make new friends, have some serious fun, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus!
