Camp Description:
The Scott Aquarium's marine science day camp introduces campers ages 6-14 (half days for age 5) to the sea and to the animals that live in and around the sea. From seining for fish and crabs to creating a sea creature T-shirt, campers experience a non-stop week of meeting live animals, new hands-on activities and games, super field trips (sailing and boating for older students) and fun. The five-day camps are offered seven weeks in June and July, 8am till 4pm. Cost: ages 8-14 - $130; ages 6-7 - $115. Registration and deposit required. State licensed. The Scott Aquarium and Marine Education Center is administered by the University of Southern Mississippi.
