Camp Description:
Established in 1926, TOM SAWYER CAMPS is one of the pioneers of private youth day camping in
Southern California. Positive re-enforcement from caring adults, the thrill of horseback riding,
the sharing of secret and daring adventures with a peer group and the chance to go out and really
get dirty are a few of the reasons many thousands of children are veteran TOM SAWYER campers.
TOM SAWYER offers four summer camps, devoted to different levels of maturity, starting with three year
olds and ending with fourteen year olds. All four camps provide the basic program of horseback
riding, swimming instruction, pressure-free sports, group games and a versatile and rugged out-door
program that provides children with the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the local wilderness
areas.
