Camp Description:
Holiday Home Camp, founded in 1887, on beatiful Geneva Lake in Williams Bay, WI. serves inner-city, underpriveleged youth. We have traditional camp programs and activities. Our program philosophy is based not on winning or losing, but tries to focus on the cooperative spirit of games and competition, building team work and trust with and among our campers. It is through these processes that we can strengthen our campers ability to reject peer pressure. We enhance their self-esteem and self-confidence, develop cooperative living skills and help them discover self-sufficiency for survival and success, not only for growing up, but for growing up in an urban environment.
