Camp Description:
The academic program is designed for motivated students seeking enrichment in a universally applicable subject area: writing. In classes limited to 10, teachers guide students as they learn to transform original thought into thoughtful composition. Instruction focuses on generating ideas, organization, diction, writing for different audiences and professional, self and peer editing. Selected readings from accomplished writers are also studied. Students also participate in workshops, numerous extra-curricular activities and a vibrant afternoon sport and art program. A detailed description of the program can be obtained by contacting us.
