Camp Description:
Kentucky's Governor's School for the Arts (GSA) provides hands-on arts opportunities for the state's talented high school students who are dancers, actors, instrumental and vocal musicians, creative writers or visual artists. Utilizing distinguished professional and teaching artists, students are immersed in a rigorous curriculum and supportive learning environment that allows them to explore the discipline and freedom of the creative process. Eligible students must currently be in their sophomore or junior year in high school, reside in Kentucky, and attend a Kentucky high school or home school. There is no charge to students or their families for attending the GSA summer program. All applicants must complete an extensive audition and review process from which 200 students are selected to attend the summer program.
