Camp Description:
Established in 1952,Camp Young Judaea is located in Wimberley, in the heart of the majestic Texas Hill Country, since 1971. We are a Jewish, non-affiliated, Zionist camp. Besides Jewish educational activities and daily creative services we do all kinds of sports, water activities, Drama, arts&crafts, mountain biking,video production and much more. For young, first-time campers we have a special 10-day Introdaction to Camp program. For our 9th-graders we have a unique travel program, "The Wild West Adventure". All our facilities are airconditioned. Our well-equiped infirmary is staffed 24 hours a day.
Camp Young Judaea is part of Young Judaea, the national youth movement. We are sponsored by Hadassah and accredited by ACA.
