Camp Description:
Camp Coyote is a coed camp for campers aged 7- 17. Our program is based on outdoor recreation with good Christian values. Our activities include: horsemanship, challenge course, team sports, aquatics on the lake and in the pool, and other enjoyable camp programs.

Camp Coyote is on the site of the historic Rose Ranch a 2000-acre working cattle ranch just north of Huntsville Texas. The property has a diverse environment of open rangeland and thick stands of pine trees. There are several lakes on the ranch great for boating and fishing. A swimming pool for swimming, diving, and basic scuba classes. Our horse facility is a 76-stall horse barn with an indoor riding arena and a herd of kid ready horses. Our campers start with the basics of horse care and safety and move on to more advanced riding skills. Our ropes course is built right in the pine trees. It is a great tool for building self assurance and team spirit. Nighttime activities include barn dances, campfire programs, and tribal games.

Our off-season from September to May is retreat season. We take all types of groups for all types of programs: equestrian activities, church groups, civic organizations, corporate retreats, school groups, and family reunions. We are prepared to feed and house your group for a week, a weekend, or even just a day event. Please call us to find out what we can put together for you.
