Camp Description:
Fun! Adventure! Friends! Memories! These sentiments echo through the hills and meadows of YMCA Camp Tippecanoe. Campers are offered the opportunity to grow, learn, explore, play, and gain a real appreciation of nature and the outdoors. From the morning mist on Lake Clendening to the crackling campfire on a starlit night, a child's day is filled with a fascinating world of fun and adventure. The YMCA Camp Tippecanoe Mission is to offer progressive, challenging outdoor and camping programs which promote a healthy body, mind, and spirit. The essence of a fun, safe, positive camp experience for your child is a well-trained, caring staff. We carefully select staff based on maturity, sound judgment, experience, and a fun-loving, enthusiastic nature. All staff undergo a complete reference and background check as well as a week of intensive staff training. Several international staff add new dimensions to our programs as children develop an appreciation for other cultures. We are proud of our staff and their devotion to serving the needs of youth
