Camp Description:
Camp Wood Lake is 76 acres of meadows, trees and lakefront located 25 miles from Brownwood inside the Lake Brownwood State park. Activities center around the new swimming pool and the lakefront. Girls enjoy hiking, playing games, making arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, sailing, bicycling, cooking out, studying the local wildlife, and much, much more depending on their session choice. It is a place where girls can come together to make life-long friendships, visit with friends made in the past, and develop and practice new skills. Younger girls live in cabins and older girls in platform tents. Girl Scout camp is a place where girls and staff make that special magic and memories that last a lifefime! Girl Scouts from other councils are welcome to attend as well as girls who are not currently registered as Girl Scouts. Join us this summer for fun, friendship and memories!
