...A Life of FaithCome to Camp Luther - - You’ll be in for an adventure as you make new friends, spend time with our caring, trained staff, & grow in your faith. You will get your feet wet, sing your heart out & get involved with many camp activities while you soak in the sunshine away from the ordinary! Camp Luther is a fun place to learn more about God, and build memories & friendships that last a lifetime.
Besides our regular camps (for 4-18 year-olds), we have specialty camps which include: Parent/Child & Grandparent/Child Camps, Sports Camps, Space Camps, Dance Camps, Owl Camps, Survivor Camps, Leadership Camps, Camps for Special Needs Individuals and more. Campfire singing and devotions are highlights for many. Camp Luther is most well known for it’s summer camp program. Camp Luther’s site is also used year-round for a variety of weekend retreats and during the week with Outdoor Education programs for school children. Camp Luther also provides service opportunities and helps people experience the joys of volunteering.
Camp Luther is a ministry whose mission is to “strengthen those it serves to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” Our trained staff is committed to providing the best Christian camp experiences for you, members of your family, and members of your retreat group. Camp Luther is a Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. It’s programs are open to all.
Camp Luther’s site is about an hour and a half drive from Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island and about an hour from Norfolk, York, and Seward. We are located 5 miles north of Highway 30 between Columbus and Schuyler. Camp Luther is nestled in 160-acres of rolling hills with an oak forest, lake, and open meadows of prairie grass.
