Camp Description:
Picture Asheville School's Summer Academic Adventures. Each summer, talented students from across the United States and around the world come to our 300-acre campus in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains to be challenged and grow. How far can your imagination take you?Summer Academic Adventures combines academics with the spirit of a summer camp. It is here that our superb faculty transforms class work into adventure with a program of experiential academics, where learning is enhanced by activity and fun. Courses are tailored to take advantage of what the area has to offer: from the 16,000-volume campus library, newly renovated gym complex, and large indoor swimming pool to local historical sites and recreational venues, not the least, the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. Asheville School Summer Academic Adventures is a three-week camp, open to students entering grades 6-11. Merit and needs-based scholarships are available.
