Camp Description:
Camp Lanowa is a non-profit camp serving children who live in NYC homeless shelters. It is located in Harriman State Park, NY and administrated by Homes for the Homeless, one of the leading providers of shelter, counseling, and educational programs for homeless families in NYC. Lanowa's program focuses on team-building, self-esteem, literacy, swimming, and outdoor education. The camp specifically caters to children ages 10-13. Every summer, talented and dedicated staff join our program from all over North America, Europe, and Africa.
