Camp Description:
Our camping experience is available for children and adults with developmental disabilities. We offer day camp for children in conjuction with our residential programs. Residential camping is available for one week, or weekends from June til August. In addition we offer special weekends in the spring and fall.
All weeks are co-ed and geared to specific age groups. Programming includes sudh activites as aquatics, arts and crafts, sports, recreation and leisure activities, nature studies, cook out, campfires, hiking, and adventure activities.
We have 24 hr. nursing support services and a low camper-to-counselor ratio. One on one services are available with special arrangments.
Camp Courageous is owned by the Arc of Lucas County,a United Health Services member agency.
