Camp Description:
A safe, holy place to find friendship and to grow with God. Camp Hulburt is located on the sunny shores of Okanagan Lake southwest of Vernon, British Columbia. The camp is blessed with a large, beautiful beach. The program theme provides the opportunity for campers to experience creation and community issues and discover how we are called by God to take responsibility in our world. This will be explored through games, crafts, music, drama, vespers, campfires, and special theme projects and discussions. Canoe and swim programs are taught by qualified instructors. All staff attend extensive Leadership Training programs to ensure positive physical, social, emotional, and spiritual experiences for every camper. Camp Hulburt is administered by the United Church of Canada and is accredited by the British Columbia Camping Association.
