Fun and You Will Learn A Lot
You will have fun and learn a lot at our basketball shooting camps. Besides the lecturing, drilling, and one-on-one instruction you will play 3 games a day. There are also several contests during the week and some free time to shoot on your own. We are a teaching camp and you will find that we truly want to do a great job for you. We want you to become the best you can be.

Learned More
Many players who have attended several other camps say they learned more at the Dick Baumgartner Shooting Camp than all the other camps put together. This has been the number one comment that we have gotten the most in the 31 years of shooting camps. We credit this to our drills, techniques, workd usage, and one-on-one individual instruction.

Led Team and Conference In Scoring
Another fact that we are proud of is where many players have come to camp who didn`t play much before coming to our shooting camp. After being at our camp they went back and not only led their team in scoring but also their conference.

Great Coaching Staff (total 35 to 39 each week)
There are 6 to 7 one-on-one professionally trained shooting instructors on duty morning, noon, and night. These shooting instructors work with each player individually on their shooting. There are also 24 to 27 station coaches, plus managers and a trainer.

Camp Director
Dick Baumgartner the camp director is the most experienced shooting instructor in the country. He has done over 48,000 player`s shots in the last 40 plus years. His shooting drills, techniques, and word usage would be second to no one.

Competition Is Good
Again, campers play 3 games a day. We have a very good number of players attend for each age group so the competition is very good for older players as well as younger players. You play and drill with players in your age group.

Offensive Fundamentals
The shooting camp also does a great job of teaching other offensive fundamentals such as dribbling passing, driving, finishing well, etc..
