Camp Description:
For almost 30 years the Gifted Education Resource Institute (GERI) has offered engaging and challenging programs for gifted and talented youth.GERI offers day programs for grades 1-6, and residential programs for grades 5-12. Students select from a wide variety of challenging course topics, including science, computers and technology, visual arts, history and social studies, and advanced mathematics. Our location on the campus of Purdue University, one of America's leading research institutions, gives campers access to modern classrooms, computer labs, laboratories, and libraries. GERI also emphasizes social opportunities, with a wide variety of optional activities, including sports, games, and field trips. Students staying on campus enjoy modern, air-conditioned housing, a low counselor to student ratio, and all the recreational resources of a Big 10 university.
