Camp Description:
Camp Lakewood is a part of North Indiana United Methodist Church Camping Ministry. It is located on Lake of the Woods in northeast Indiana. The property covers approximately 120 acres with 1/4 mile of shoreline.
Our primary focus is elementary age children. Summer camps run early June through late August. These Christian Camps focus on a variety of activities: Sports, Drama, Wilderness Survival, Water Sports, Bible Quizzing, Nature, Indian and Pioneer Life. Weekend Camps are run through out the year, providing an opportunity to experience camping in all seasons.
Our Adventure Tripping Program runs year round with trips for all ages. Programs include: backpacking, kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, fishing, and mountain biking.
Our facilities are open September through May for retreats, meetings, parties, and dinners. We can accomodate a variety of ages and interests.
