Camp Description:
The focus of Fluid Mechanics Swim Camp is the development of each swimmer’s mind, body and spirit. Each swimmer is encouraged to set personal goals and taught how to achieve them. Through Cataloging, our revolutionary method of teaching, our Certified Consultants break down each stroke, start and turn into its finest components and show swimmers the best way to execute them. In addition, swimmers learn the common denominators of all strokes such as Acceleration, Core of the Stroke, Pressure Fields and Sprinting through our Hydro-Dynamics programs. Our consultants analyze individual strokes and make personal recommendations. Practice sessions combine sprint and endurance training and are tailored to accommodate each swimmer's specific training needs. Dryland strength training, injury prevention, and Christopher Andersonn's Mental Visualization seminars are featured. Each swimmer is videotaped above and below surface with marine life cameras. Swimmers leave camp with the confidence to set new goals and the knowledge to work towards achieving them. Residential camps are available in 1, 5, 7 or 11 day formats and day camps in 1, 2 or 4 day formats. Recommended for swimmers 8 and older. Campers receive a personalized videotape, t-shirt, cap and goody bag. Residential Packages starting at $699-5 day, $899-7 day, $1499-11 day.
