Camp Description:
At MVP Basketball Academy, we will operate from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. During this time, we want to stress fundamentals such as team play, ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding, footwork, moving without the basketball, setting, using, and reading screens, and one on one moves. At the Academy, we will have an enthusiastic yet disciplined atmosphere. It is our goal to share as much information as possible in a positive learning environment. Along with basketball fundamentals, we will stress gratitude, goal setting, discipline, and a strong work ethic. The coaching staff will consist of college and high school coaches, and former players. The benefits of the Academy are an 8:1 ratio, an Academy t-shirt, a camper packet, and a subscription to our quarterly newsletter. Both sessions will be conducted at Charlotte Latin school, in their brand new 40,000 square foot athletic facility.
