Camp Description:
2002 marks the 75th anniversaryof Camp Sequassen, Home of the Hermit, located on 540 acres of prime wooded forest near the quaint New England town of New Hartford, Connecticut, Camp Sequassen is a Scout adventure land. As home to diverse summer camp favorites such as aquatics, Scoutcraft, shooting sports, ecology, as well as rigorous older Scout programs such as mountain biking, black powder rifle shooting, and trail to Eagle camp. Sequassen is the ideal place to experience all the excitement that Scouting has to offer. The flagship camp of the Connecticut Yankee Council, and considered by many to be one of the premium Scout camps in the Eastern United States. Sequassen has a reputation of delivering superior program accredited by the Boy Scouts of America. It's easy to see why Scouts throughout the Northeast Region return again and again.
