Camp Description:
Red, White and Blue Field Hockey Camp offers opportunities from beginners to elite players to develop and enhance their skills and love of the game. Beginners and intermediates will learn the rules and develop basic concepts. More experienced players will have emphasis placed on honing and refining their skills. The Elite Camp offers many opportunities for game play and situational drills, concluding with a a "fastest shot" competition by an STX representative timing the speed of their shot with prizes for the winners.This camp has recieved numerous accolades from previous camp participants and their parents. Many campers have gone onto successful high school and college careers. Camp Director, Ms. Gail Purcell, has over 27 years of coaching experience. She has over 200 coaching victories at Centennial High School. She has won the first and only Field Hockey State Championship in Howard County. Her teams have made five trips to the final four. Many of her players have continued to participate successfully at the collegiate level.
