Camp Description:
YMCA Camp Gorham is a 1500 acre Summer Resident Camp and Outdoor Education Center located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York. In operation since 1961, YMCA Camp Gorham has provided thousands of children experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. Facilities include a private 400-acre lake, recreation hall, dining hall, Adirondack log style cabins with internal plumbing, horse stables, arts & crafts barn and much more. The activities are seemingly endless with horseback riding, water-skiing, sailing, kayaking, rock-climbing and high ropes among the most liked. Wilderness trips for teens focus on many different areas including; backpacking, caving, climbing, kayaking, canoeing, and mountain biking.
