Integral to and concurrent with its mission, the School of Ballet Chicago's objectives are: to be one of the nation's preeminent classical training institutions, providing exacting training standards to perpetuate the art form's excellence, to provide scholarship training to talented students of all ethnic and economic backgrounds who would not otherwise have the means to pursue quality classical dance training, and to provide quality training for those who may not become career dancers but who will gain the poise, confidence, discipline and fundamental life skills inherent in the study of classical ballet.
