Camp Description:
“Of all the many camps my son has attended, this is by far the best. As an educator, I'm extremely impressed with the quality of this program.” Connie Ryan, UC Irvine.iD Tech Camps is the nation’s most recommended technology camp! iD Tech Camps, a family-operated company, is the largest technology summer camp nationwide. You may have seen us on CNN Headline News or on 25 other TV News segments. We offer day and overnight computer camps in weekly and multi-week sessions for kids and teens ages 7-17. Our summer camps are located at 50 prestigious universities nationwide in 23 states and Spain. Please visit our internalDrive website to see where there¹s an iD Tech Camps near you (and mention WD35 for a discount). “I like iD Tech Camps because as a 13 year old, I got the chance to do something that people only dream of doing.” Daryl, Georgetown University. Students like Daryl create 2D and 3D video games, experience game modding with Battlefield 2142™ from Electronic Arts, improve their gaming skills with the Gaming Athletes course, build robots to compete, design websites with Flash® animations, film and edit digital movies, create their own comic book with zany digital photos, learn programming and more. With one computer per student and an average of five students per staff, campers are given the attention they need to excel and take home a project at the end of the weeklong course. Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, Canon, and others have partnered with iD Tech Camps to raise the bar in technology education. At iD Tech Camps, you¹ll also find unique programs not seen any place else. Students at UC San Diego and UC Santa Cruz learn to surf and create technology projects with our Surf & Tech program. At Stanford, students participate with Stanford Athletics in taekwondo, fencing, golf, or tennis while the other half of the day they create a video game or design a website. Teens can study abroad in Cádiz, Spain for 2 ½ weeks and create a documentary digital movie while learning filmmaking, living with a host family, taking Spanish language classes, and visiting other sites in Southern Spain. The iD Gaming Academy at UC Berkeley, UCLA, Stanford, and Villanova immerses teens in the dynamic world of video game development. Students create their own mini game portfolio with levels and interactivity in this intensive 3 week program. Using powerful industry-standard applications like Alias Maya, teens will learn the basics of 3D graphics production, including modeling, texturing and animating. Additionally, they’ll participate in late-night gaming tournaments, LAN parties and tour a game development studio. Spaces fill quickly so visit our internalDrive website to preview videos, photos, and experience hands-on tech fun. You¹ll see why we¹ve become the number one camp.
