Camp Description:
Founded in 1996, Kroka Expedition’s is committed to awakening in young people a connection to nature and the spirit within, and a capacity for conscious living and compassionate service. We strive to achieve this through wilderness adventure, community living, farming, and the practice of traditional and indigenous skills. We offer one and two week summer programs in rock climbing, white water paddling, bow making, and birch bark canoe building. We offer introductory to advanced programs. Students live in “hobbit houses” and traditional dwellings amidst a picturesque village looking out at our hilltop farm on the edge of a large wilderness area. We also offer two high school semester programs and work with school groups on day and overnight trips. We offer 23 unique programs for ages 6-18 range in length from 5 to 21 days. Most are coed, with special programs offered for girls only and boys only. All trips start at our base camp in Marlow, NH, and travel to hidden destinations in New England, New York and special expeditions to Ecuador and Canada.
