Camp Description:
Enthusiastic Christian counselors focus on God's love and handiwork as they shape opportunities for each camper to have loads of fun in a safe environment. Days are filled with five activities of choice. Nights are adventure filled with beach parties, water slide, counselor hunt. At CRS each camper helps create his/her own fun while learning new skills and making lasting friends. All campers look forward to their night of tent camping and having camp stew cooked over a campfire. Skits, hikes, sing-alongs, and council ring provide great opportunities for campers to grow socially and spiritually. The final program each week is the passion play at the chapel in the woods. This production makes the gospel story come alive and remains a favorite of Camp of the Rising Son campers.
