Camp Description:
Up in the cool pines and forest breezes there’s a mountain of fun and adventure waiting. Whether you enjoy drama, art, hiking, archery, music, or all of the above, you’re sure to have a blast at Whispering Pines. Resident Camp provides a girl the opportunity to develop new skills, build lasting friendships, and discover her potential — all while having great fun.

Girls are grouped into units according to their chosen specialty program, such as Art Daze, Hollywood Hills, Packs and Poles, etc. Program units are staffed with counselors and a program specialist. Each unit contains a close cluster of cabins or bungalows where girls live together. Staff members sleep nearby in a central cabin or bungalow in the unit. Campers arise
at 7:00 a.m. and breakfast is served at 8:00 a.m. Lunch is served at noon and dinner at 6:00 p.m.

During the week campers will get the chance to cook out in their unit or go on a lunch hike. Daytime activities include specialty programs such as art projects, rehearsing the theater performance or learning backpacking skills. All campers enjoy the traditional camp favorites such as hiking, arts and crafts, archery, singing and drama. The fun is just getting started as the sun goes down, when camp fires, theme parties, or night hikes to a city overlook complete the day. All-camp theme parties are once per week, and the theme is predetermined by the date.

Come experience Whispering Pines Resident Camp…the camp experience that lasts a lifetime!
