Camp Description:
Join our Summer Camp Program Staff.
Our Summer Camp is designed to help youth ages 5-12 develop skills and increase self-confidence while participating with other youth in a fun, safe environment. The program operates at three manufactured home communities in northwest Ramsey County. Each site employs a Site Leader, three Senior Group Leaders and Junior Group Leaders who provide fun and enriching activities to 20 plus participants during a five-week program.

Camp runs from June 19th through July 30th.
A typical camp day runs from 12:45 to 3:45 PM Monday through Thursday and is purposefully planned to include a variety of activities in arts and crafts, recreational sports, and small group activities. Each week, the site goes on a field trip to locations within the Metro area (e.g. Children’s Museum, Wave Pool, Camp Snoopy, and French Regional Park). Throughout the program, participants learn valuable social skills as each site works on a production that is presented to parents the last week of camp.

Earn $9.50-$10.50 an hour
The Group Leaders are responsible for working with a small group of youth and working in tandem with other Group Leaders in large group activities. Group Leaders will develop knowledge and skills in program planning and delivery, small group process, teamwork, child development and positive discipline. All staff are required to attend paid staff training which occurs the first week of camp and program development days on Fridays during camp, and are expected to commit for the 20 days Camp will be in session.
