Camp Description:
We are unique in our camping approach. We operate as an outpost and provide our campers the opportunity to experience adventure activities in a safe environment. Campers reside in rustic bunkhouses with bunk beds and mattresses or campers may choose large, cottage-style tents with carpeted platforms and cots with mattresses. Bathhouses and dining facilities are nearby. Other base camp amenities include a challenge course, game area, hot tub, lodge and pavilion.

SMAC’s mission is to foster a positive and safe environment where campers can experience success, create lasting friendships, develop new skills, practice teamwork, and gain self-esteem while actively enjoying adventure activities and outdoor programs.

Our campers experience a wide array of adventure activities and gain self-esteem as they achieve new goals. Activities include: Whitewater Rafting, Biking, Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Swimming, Caving, Horseback Riding, Tubing, Campfire Programs, Backpacking, Overnight Canoe Trips, Hay Rides, Kayaking, Ice Skating, Challenge Course Activities, Day Hikes, Environmental Programs, Wildlife Programs, a Celebration Night in Gatlinburg Tennessee, and more.

Our Adventure Partners and Outfitters are seasoned specialists with years of experience. They love their respective adventure and take extreme care to make it a memorable and safe experience. The challenge level of each activity is determined by the skill and experience of each camper. Our goal is to provide an adventure experience in a safe and supervised environment.
