Camp Description:
Camp Treasure Chest is a 1 week residential camp for children 8-11 with moderate to severe asthma. The camp is designed for children who would not otherwise be able to attend an overnight camp because of their asthma. Camp Treasure Chest is also a place where children learn how to accept their asthma, to understand it more fully and to build up their self confidence. Camp Treasure Chest is staffed 24 hours a day by physicians, registered nurses, and respiratory therapists, all specially trained in the area of childhood asthma. No need for concern, the individual medical needs of each camper are met as indicated by the child's family physician. Best of all.....Camp Treasure Chest is offered at NO CHARGE to you, so give us a call.
